About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QA team, ensuring effective planning, execution, and delivery of testing activities across projects.
• Define and implement test strategies, QA processes, and quality standards across the organization.
• Ensure comprehensive test planning, test case development, execution, regression testing, and defect management
• Drive the implementation and adoption of test automation frameworks and modern testing practices.
• Collaborate with development, product, and project teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Lead defect analysis, root cause investigation, and preventive quality initiatives.
• Ensure QA processes support Agile development and CI/CD environments.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in software testing methodologies and QA lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with manual and automation testing frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with performance and security testing frameworks.
• Experience with load runner, security tool, automation tools or similar.
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.)
• Experience with test management and bug tracking tools such as Mantis, JIRA etc.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Professional certifications such as ISTQB or similar testing certifications will be an advantage.
